Before computers were invented, life was hard and sometimes impossible to cope with. Economy, construction and education are some aspects of how computers take part in our lives.
Today, most of our lives are dependant on money, without it you can not get food, a house or medicine when you’re sick. Therefore the economy should be prosperous to offer all these things. Computers have helped many countries economy to thrive because of its ability to make difficult processes and storage of data much simpler. Without computers data would be stored in documents and calculations would be done manually, as calculators are basically a computer with one function, to solve calculations.
Construction is one of the many aspects that rely on computers to make processes faster and more convenient and relatively easy. Construction includes designing floor plans and, the harder part, make sure the design is done well and the all pillars, trusses and frames are strong and well designed enough to support the building. This type of information is calculated by computers which is really hard to do physically. Computers have modernised our homes and public buildings to be safer. Computers have even made the designing of the appearance of the building better looking as well as safe.
Education is made much easier by computers, although you need to learn how to use the computer, itself. Computers are a very good tool for students. Computers enable research, word processing, and much more. Without computers we relied on books, but it is hard to find the right book with the relevant information in it, if the information was available. The internet allows you to research and email your work to your teachers.
Computers affect our lives in many aspects, such as transport, construction and education. Some argue that they are taking over our lives but others say computers benefit us in many ways. In my opinion, life couldn’t be any easier without computers.
