Apple is full of projects. While the Apple brand to unveil its new iPhone 5, on September 12th, and continues to negotiate the introduction of television channels, the American press reported that the group is negotiating the launch of a free internet radio.

The Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, and both say that Apple is trying to obtain licenses to play music on the model of Pandora Internet radio. With this new service, the user will have access to a diverse selection of music appropriate to his tastes. As a traditional radio broadcast is free, funded by advertising.

This new project, if it materializes, will allow the Cupertino “to extend its supremacy over online music,” says the Wall Street Journal. The group plans to make this new radio accessible from its devices, the iPhone, iPad and Mac, and possibly on laptops running the operating system Microsoft Windows. But the service will probably not be available on mobile phones and tablets multifunction using the Android operating system from Google, reported business daily.

But Apple “has only just begun negotiations for licenses with the labels” and “even if it concludes agreements, it may take several months before the launch of such a service,” writes the Wall Street Journal. Bloomberg also reports this morning that the group is facing difficulties to launch its new Apple TV, which would give access to live television content and application. Discussions with cable companies and content providers are at an impasse, according to the U.S. agency.
