Advantages and Disadvantages of Technology

According to Jessa Balsa, an ICT student, the present generation are fully equipped with new inventions. Because they can use various kinds of devices, appliances and gadgets which make life comfortable. And that they can easily do the household chores with the help of some appliances such as rice cooker, washing machine, water heater and a lot more.

Cellphones and computers are also there for us to communicate with our friends and relatives who are far from us. That is why the products of technology are very important for our present and future life. The fact is, we can not live comfortably without all these.

But on the other hand, if these are abused it can cause harmful effects. One of the most useful devices today is the computer. A lot of students depend on it, specially in doing projects and searching some information. They are much dependent to computer technology already, thinking that it can do a lot of things for them and give them good grades. Most students become lazy pulling out their own idea. And worst is, students do not give priority to their studies but computer games already occupy the biggest part of mind.

Well, there’s nothing wrong about technology if we know our limitations. Doing the right things and not the opposite can help make our lives better.
