I have bought myself a ACER 5735 laptop about 3 weeks ago from Currys for £449.99. So far I am happy about it. This is a the laptop won;t let you down if you are under a budget, The laptop priced under the £500 mark and it runs with the brand new intel core 2 dual T6400 CPU, this CPU had only came out since Feb 2009 and compare to the T5600 it is almost the same in term of processing power but the T6400 does produce a lot less heat and it comsumes alot less power than the T5600 which mean the new T6400 is the perfect choice for your laptop. You will harly ever find it over heating. Futhermore the CPU comes with 2MB L2 cache memory which speeds up your application alot.

My laptop comes with 3GB Ram and 250 GB hard disk which I think would be enough for most people.

The screen is a 15.4 inch 16:9 screen makes it easy to work with as well as watching movies and so on. However the resolouion is not as high as I had expected. only 1366 x 768.

So far I can not find much downside about this laptop, but if I have to find one I would go for the grapics card which is very basic. I have not tried to run any games on it so I have not notice any problems at all. Having run a test from Pcpitstop.com I found out the grapics hard is not one of the best. but well for a laptop under £500 maybe we should not be expecting too much.
