There is a malicious malware called DNSChanger, created by a few Estonians – who obviously had nothing better to do – which will guarantee to kick many thousands off the Internet on Monday 9th.

It is estimated that 4 million worldwide will be affected by this trojan virus, and around 500,000 in the United States. The malware has been circulating the web since as far back as 2007, and it was created to redirect unsuspecting web users to websites with paid advertisements, of which the criminals raked in big profits. These criminals have since been arrested after the FBI tracked them down several months ago.
However, there is good news as you can be able to check your PC or Mac yourself and find out if you have been infected or not. There are several handy tools on the World Wide Web that you can use. Below are a couple of links to websites which will help you determine if you are in the clear, or not:

Check out those sites to quickly and easily find out whether you will be affected.
