How to Unsave Username and Password on Gmail

There is something annoying about Gmail that gets me. After you log into your gmail and save your username and password, there is no option to unsave. Here is how you can resolve this issue.

There is something annoying about Gmail that gets me. After you log into your gmail and save your username and password, there is no option tounsave. In Hotmail there is a “Forget me” option just below the password box.

So if you have experienced the same as me, here is how you can resolve this issue on various web browsers:

Internet Explorer

1. Open up internet explorer

2. Select Tools

3. Select Internet Options

4. Click Content

5. Select AutoComplete, Settings

6. Unclick usernames and passwords on forms

7. You might also want to unclick any other options while you are there depending on what you want.

8. Click OK

Firefox

1. Click Tools

2. Select Options.

3. Select the Security tab.

4. Unclick Remember passwords for sites.

5. Click OK

Google Chrome

1. Click Tools

2. Select Clear browsing data.

3. Select Empty the cache and Delete cookies.

4. Click Clear browsing data.

Unclick “Stay signed in” before you sign in to gmail if you do not want your username and password remembered.
