First you need to check the different types of anti-virus available for e.g. Kapersky, Mcafee, Avant and others.

Secondly check your phone accessories. Your phone should come with a USB cord from the manufacturer or if you don’t have it, you can purchase one N/B the type for your phone.

Purchase the type of anti-virus you want to use, it should be in a disk, then follow this guidelines for the installation process.

1. Insert your USB cable to your phone and then the other end of the cable to the USB Port in your computer, your computer will automatically detect the new hardware found message and will also write the name of the drive
2. N/B To locate drive go to Start, Click on my computer you will see it on the list of drives. Click on it to gain access.
3. Insert the anti-virus disk into the CD-Rom drive and wait for it to open, if it doesn’t pop up after one minute then go to my computer, click on the CD-Rom drive to open

Click on the anti-virus software from the disk it will come up with options such as like “Open” “Save” “Save As” then click on the save as option, direct it to the new drive detected by your computer, click “Save” to save it directly to the drive

1. To start the installation process make sure you have enough space on your phone memory card, if you don’t have you can free some space in order to allow the installation to go on, then click on the anti-virus software from your newly detected drive to begin the installation process
2. After the installation, right click on each of the folders contained in your phone for e.g. my music, my pictures, my videos and other folders created by you. When you right click on each folder, you will see on the list of options “Scan with Anti-virus” click on it to start the scanning process, continue scanning each folder one by one to achieve the result.
3. You can choose to uninstall to free some space or you can keep it if you have enough space though

N/B to avoid damage to your phone always scan files you send to your phone.
